Audit/Accounting Manager
Responsibilities:
- Lead audits of a client company and report results.
- Conduct risk analysis, control identification, and audit program development.
- Own project management responsibility for all phases of assigned audits, reviews and compilations, including planning and reporting.
- Demonstrates and apply a thorough understanding of project management skills ensuring engagements meet department requirements.
- Will identify and report on risks found through the audit process as well as design and execute testing procedures.
- Sets overall engagement milestones (planning, fieldwork & reporting) for assigned engagement.
Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of audit practices and financial and operational processes.
- Creating high quality deliverables using appropriate business/technical language.
- Demonstrates a highly skilled ability to evaluate internal controls, effectively lead/develop a team of peers, analyze and solve complex problems, conduct research, and express ideas clearly, concisely and persuasively both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of business ethics.
- Demonstrates the ability to multi-task, by in-charging and/or performing testing on more than one engagement concurrently.
- Ability to work full-time and additional hours as needed.
- Strong decision-making skills.
- CPA certification.
